Senior Utility Strategy Analyst – Contract Position
Location: New York, New York

The Strategy Analyst professional will drive strategic project delivery through management support, status reporting, and overall coordination of strategic utility infrastructure projects. The strategy analyst will:
Support the development and execution of multiple projects related to generation, transmission and asset management projects
Contributes to maintenance of critical project documentation for all assigned projects/processes. Create presentations, reports and/or documentation to support projects
Manage assigned projects, be responsible for accurate status reporting, project progress, risks/issue tracking, lessons learned, financials, adherence to methodology/standard operating proceedures, and meeting internal customer objectives
Assist with day-to-day coordination with vendors and contractors
Support identification and management of stakeholder expectations and performance objectives
Demonstrated experience in project management and ability to understand and use standard report and project management tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of utility operations, asset management, electric generation, and transmission preferred, but not required
Demonstrated experience as a key contributor to the successful completion of projects including abilities to adjust to changing priorities both independently and in team settings
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with a team to accomplish a common objective. Ability to independently lead a major work stream while coordinating with other team members to identify inter-work stream dependencies and risks, and develop and carry out mitigation steps.
Ability to prioritize and plan work with respect to project schedules, and deliver results in a timely manner
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills in order to communicate to all audience levels
Minimum 2 years utility industry, management consulting, or related field preferred
BS in Engineering or a related field preferred
Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
