2020 in Review
2019 has certainly been a busy year for the energy transition and a busy year for us at Indigo. As we look back upon the past 12 months, we would like to acknowledge those who have helped us shape our business. Thanks for a great year, and we wish you all the best as you embark on a new decade. Below are some of our 2019 highlights.
A few of our favorite achievements from 2019
On the research front, our Distributed Ledger Technology industry analysis was featured by the U.S. Congressional Research Service and our review of Artificial Intelligence in utilities featured by the DOE in their Smart Grid Systems Report to Congress
In the media, our views on emerging technologies were featured by POWER Magazine, our analysis of Artificial Intelligence and utilities highlighted in Utility Dive and our research on blockchain technology outlined in Engerati and Greentech Media
Building on from our work with the Joint Utilities of New York we launched our European and US utility survey results in our Distributed Ledger Technology report co-created with EPRI, “Blockchain in Utilities – 2019 Electric Utility Insights”
We joined the Engerati Advisory Board alongside leading experts in the energy transition field. Engerati is Europe’s largest community of utilities and power sector professionals
We were judges at the fifth annual Business Analytics Competition at The O'Malley School of Business in Manhattan College
Sample Clients, Research Partners & Media
Most importantly, our favorite accomplishment of 2019 is that we continue to work across a range of energy transition projects for our valued clients and research partners. Over the past 12 months this work included the development of EV infrastructure roll-out strategies, utility analytics programs, grid modernization business cases and market intelligence advisory for investment and research firms.
We are looking forward to launching our 2020 research agenda and strategic imperatives for the utility industry early next year. Look out for reports, podcasts and insights from the team. In the meantime check out our Indigo capability primer “Transformation Tools for Utilities” and our recent webinar and podcast.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
